SHELL Refrigeration Oil S2 FR-A 68 – 55 Gallon Drum
SHELL Refrigeration Oil S2 FR-A 68 is a low miscibility compressor lubricant intended for use in refrigeration compressors using Ammonia (NH3) refrigerant. It is formulated from specially refined paraffinic base oils in combination with additives selected to minimize system deposits and provide long service life.

Description
For use in systems where oil separation is required.
Designed to reduce ?light end? oil carryover.
Provides excellent control for deposit and sludge formation in extended oil drain intervals in comparison with conventional mineral oil based oils.
Recommended for use in open, semi-open and hermetic compressors in domestic, commercial and industrial refrigeration systems.
Can be used in both rotary and reciprocating compressor types.
Recommend for use with ammonia (R717).
Can be used in systems using hydrocarbons such as propane (R290)
Miscible with mineral oil, alkylated benzene and PAO based lubricants.
Not recommended for use with CRC, HCFC or HFC refrigerants (i.e. R12, R22, R134a).
